Outdoor catification applies the same principles outside, using weather-resistant components to create safe, enriched spaces in catios, enclosures, or gardens. It increases usable space while encouraging exercise and mental stimulation.

Catification is suitable for cats of all ages, including indoor cats, active or confident cats, rescue or nervous cats, and multi-cat households. It can be adapted to suit different mobility levels and personalities.

Yes. Modular catification components are designed to integrate with existing catios and cat enclosures, allowing owners to upgrade or expand enrichment without replacing the entire structure. You can attach to a wall or if attaching to the side of a catio you will need to ensure that you have a vertical post every 1.2m to ensure that the cat shlves and cat bridges are securely supported.

When designed specifically for outdoor environments and installed correctly, cat bridges and shelves are safe and durable. Proper fixings, spacing, and stability are essential for long-term use. We also recommend undertaking regular maintenance inspections.
