Product Description

Transform your cat’s outdoor space into a multi-level playground for climbing, lounging, and exploring. The Complete Climber Enrichment Package combines our most popular enrichment pieces to create a stimulating, elevated environment your cat will love.

Perfect for catios and garden walls, this all-in-one set encourages natural behaviours while adding structure, interest, and comfort to your setup.

Why your cat will love it

  • Cosy elevated bed: The Luna Lookout features a weatherproof orange roof and waterproof cushion for a comfortable, sheltered retreat.
  • Natural bamboo finish: Shelf and bridge are made from durable, weather-resistant bamboo, designed to age beautifully to a soft grey-silver tone over time.
  • Flexible installation: Components can be wall-mounted or fixed to ProtectaPet® Catio posts.
  • Seamless system integration: Designed to integrate within the ProtectaPet® Catio system; for optimal layout, vertical posts should be positioned every 1.2m.

Measuring Guide
See Full Page

Use our guidance to work out what you need to correctly measure your garden for our cat proofing products.

Step One

Gather the necessary tools:
  • Tape measure
  • Pen and pencil
  • Paper or notebook
  • Smartphone

Step Two

Measure the height of existing boundaries

Use a tape measure to check the height of any existing boundaries such as fences or walls. On existing fences, measure to the top of the fence post. If there are raised flower beds or raised ground next to the boundary, measure from the highest ground level to the top of the wall or fence post.

Step Three

Measure the length of the boundary

Each existing boundary of different height will need measuring in length. For example, if your fence is a straight run but drops from 1.8m to 1.6m mid-way, please measure both lengths separately. Where there is existing standard fencing, you can usually work out the length of the boundary by counting the number of fence panels and multiplying it by the standard width of fence panels, which is 2 meters.

Step Four

Send your measurements to ProtectaPet

Once you have measured your garden and recorded the measurements, please send us your plan, along with photographs of your garden. Along with your full address, we can verify the garden measurements on Google Earth and advise you what you will need to secure your garden.

FAQs

We recommend that you fit the Hammock to a wall that is made from brick, wood or stone and at least 10cm deep. We don't recommend installing the hammock on plasterboard.

ProtectaPet DIY Catios are supplied with upright supports at 2.4m intervals. If you plan to add enrichment features such as shelves or bridges, additional support posts should be installed every 1.2m to ensure these features are safely and securely supported.

Attaching a catio to your house is simple with the right components. If your home has brick walls, you can securely fix the cat enclosure frame using ProtectaPet® bespoke “top hat clips,” designed specifically for safe and stable installation.

ProtectaPet® offers a range of modular components that make it easy to attach catios and cat enclosures directly to your home, ensuring a seamless fit, reliable security, and a professional finish.

In most cases, catios are not considered permanent structures and therefore typically do not require planning permission. However, regulations can vary depending on your location and specific circumstances.

Requirements may differ based on whether the catio is installed in your front or rear garden, as well as local planning rules. For accurate guidance, it’s always recommended to contact your local authority to confirm the requirements for your specific project.

Yes, indoor cats can greatly benefit from catios. Research from the University of Lincoln, based on interviews with over 400 cat owners, found that cats previously kept indoors showed improved behavioural scores after being given controlled outdoor access through a cat enclosure.

Catios provide a safe way for indoor cats to experience fresh air, mental stimulation, and natural enrichment, all while remaining protected, helping to support their overall wellbeing and reduce boredom-related behaviours.

Yes, catios are highly beneficial for cats. Research from the University of Lincoln, involving over 400 cat owners, found that both indoor cats and those previously allowed to roam freely showed improved behavioural scores after being given access to a secure outdoor enclosure.

The study highlights that many owners feel conflicted about letting their cats roam due to safety concerns. However, catios provide a safe and practical alternative, allowing cats to enjoy fresh air, stimulation, and natural behaviours without exposure to common outdoor risks.

As Professor Daniel Mills explains:

“Many owners feel conflicted about letting their cat out… but our work shows that there is a practical alternative that works… and the cats do benefit from being outside, especially when that environment is protected.”
